Our logo of an old head-trained vine bore fruit for us for 25 years. It had instant recognition in the production side of the California wine business. But we had a problem – a good problem but still a problem. Over the last few years, we have become the leading player in the sales of grapes and premium wines from California. Many of our clients are partially unaware of our leadership position. So, how could we come up with a new look that reflected our new leadership, while still preserving the historical feel of our family’s involvement in the California wine business since 1941?We found the answer right next door. Axion Design, our next-door neighbor in San Anselmo, did a remarkably professional job. They analyzed our market position, came up with three positioning possibilities, offered tentative designs and collateral material for each design. All of the designs were excellent but we were immediately drawn to the quality seal. We feel that it has a sense of history and implies a promise of quality. The bold, contemporary type of the name below reflects the bold, contemporary character of our company, ready to place our resources at your service in an ever-changing wine business.
